Tosin Oshinowo is a Nigerian architect, designer and curator whose work has helped advance contemporary African architecture through innovative design, cultural identity and socially responsive urban development. As Founder and Principal Architect of Oshinowo Studio, formerly cmDesign Atelier, she has established an internationally recognised architectural practice with projects spanning residential, commercial and civic developments. Her notable projects include Maryland Mall in Lagos, the Adidas flagship store in Lagos, Lantern House and Ngarannam, a community reconstruction project developed in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme for people displaced by insurgency in northeastern Nigeria. Beyond architectural practice, Oshinowo has contributed significantly to international design conversations, serving as curator of the 2023 Sharjah Architecture Triennial and receiving a Special Mention at the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale for Alternative Urbanism: The Self-Organized Markets of Lagos.
