Azubike Emodi is a Nigerian business executive, real estate investment strategist and Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Afriland Properties Plc, bringing over 20 years of professional experience spanning financial services, asset management, property development and corporate leadership. Appointed to lead Afriland Properties in February 2025, Emodi brought a distinguished career that includes leadership experience at Zenith Bank, VFD Group, VBank, Anchoria Asset Management and HEREL Global, alongside international financial services experience with the Royal Bank of Canada. Before joining Afriland, he served as Managing Director of HEREL Global, where he was involved in financial and real estate projects, strengthening his expertise in investment strategy and property development.
At Afriland Properties, a member of Heirs Holdings Group, Emodi leads a publicly listed real estate company with a substantial property portfolio and one of Nigeria’s largest institutional land banks. The company's portfolio includes Afriland Towers, Heirs Towers, The Residences by Afriland, Iris Court, Afriland Estate and The Emporium, reflecting its presence across commercial property, residential development and real estate investment.
His leadership priorities include unlocking the value of existing property assets, strengthening institutional real estate investment, expanding residential and commercial development opportunities, and delivering spaces that support business activity, urban growth and long-term economic value.
